Four friends – Alex, Ben, Chloe, and Diana – each wears a different colored shirt: red, blue, green, and yellow.

Use these clues to determine who wears which color:

• Alex is not wearing red or blue.
• Ben’s shirt is not blue.
• Chloe is wearing green.
• Diana is not wearing yellow.

 

 

Solution

Chloe is fixed with green. Alex cannot wear red or blue; with green taken, Alex must wear yellow. Ben cannot wear blue, so he must wear red (since yellow and green are taken). Diana is then left with blue. These are the colors each person is wearing: Alex – Yellow Ben – Red Chloe – Green Diana – Blue
