Minute Mystery: Doorway Dilemma

Updated: Apr 30

Bite-sized brain teaser to solve in a minute or less

Doorway Dilemma

Simon faces a challenge to rescue his captured friend, who is imprisoned in one of three adjacent rooms. Each room presents a unique door, adorned with a plaque bearing inscriptions: "Danger" for the red door, "Void" for the yellow door, and "Friend" for the green door. However, each plaque is affixed to the incorrect door. Behind one door lies Simon's friend, behind another awaits a sworn enemy, and behind the third lies nothingness. With only two attempts to open the doors, how can Simon navigate the doors to reach his friend in either the first or second try, given he must avoid opening the door to his enemy?
