Minute Mystery: Furniture Delivery

Bite-sized brain teaser to solve in a minute or less

Furniture Delivery

Sam and Alex run a furniture delivery and assembly service. Today, they need to pick up three large dining tables from a warehouse at 8:30 am and deliver and assemble them in three different homes across the city. Loading the tables takes 45 minutes. The first home is 30 minutes away from the warehouse, the second home is 35 minutes away from the first, and the third home is 45 minutes away from the second. They must arrive at their office (which is 25 minutes away from the third home) by 4:30 pm for an important meeting. How much time can Sam and Alex spend at each home unloading and assembling the dining tables and still make it to their office on time?
