Updated: Jan 29

January 2024

Solve mildly challenging puzzles to unlock the mystery.

Whispers in the Manor

Before his passing, the eccentric Mr. Whisper bequeathed his estate and belongings to his only surviving family member, Billy, the grandson of his older sister. However, Mr. Whisper, in his eccentricity, concealed his will within the manor. Can you join Billy on a journey to Whisper Manor and assist him in unraveling the clues and uncovering the whereabouts of Mr. Whisper's elusive will?

Part Three

This is Part Three of a three-part series. You may choose to first solve Part One and Part Two. Otherwise, you may just solve this puzzle.

Please note: The results from the previous two puzzles may have been shared within the puzzle below.

Clue:

Billy successfully unlocks a cabinet within the manor's grand library, revealing:

  • A glass vial labeled "Waning Glory"

  • A coded safe

  • An envelope containing

    • A plain, empty piece of paper

    • A note reading “The code appears in three washes, each wash from a different vial. Beware, the washes must be in order or the message will disappear forever. But you would understand the order if you knew the phases of the moon.”

Can you help Billy in discerning the correct sequence for three liquid washes so that he can cleanse the plain paper and unveil the code to open the safe?

(Refer to Part One and Part Two for the names of all liquids)
